Manuscript submission

Editorial procedure

Authors should submit their manuscripts online to: acta.analytica@uni-mb.si. Electronic submission substantially reduces the editorial processing and reviewing times and shortens overall publication times. All submissions will be acknowledged as received. Manuscripts should have an abstract of 100 to 150 words and 5-7 keywords. The abstract should not contain any undefined abbreviations or unspecified references. In order to accommodate anonymous refereeing, the author’s name and address (postal address, e-mail) should appear in a separate file and should not be repeated in the text.

Only if required, manuscripts in English should be sent to the editorial office. They should not exceed 32 pages in print (or, approximately, 13.500 words or 80.000 characters). They should be typed or printed double-spaced on one side of plain paper with wide margins allowing for editorial notes and instructions to the typesetter.Manuscripts will not be returned.

Refereeing

All papers are refereed and referees’ reports are sent on to the authors if the referees agree. Submissions that do not take into account the existing literature on the topic of the paper and closely related topics are not likely to be published. Sometimes the author will receive only the Editor's final verdict!

Offprints/Reprints

Free and/or additional offprints can be ordered by the corresponding author. 25 offprints of each contribution are supplied free of charge to the
corresponding author.

Online first

The article will be published online after receipt of the corrected proofs. This is the official first publication citable with the DOI. After release of the printed version, the paper can also be cited by issue and page numbers.
